What we do

Remote Maintenance & Support

Updates, monitoring, backups and rapid response for your site and systems.

What we do

Maintenance and support that notices before problems appear

A website is at its most up to date on the day it goes live; from the next day it starts to age. New versions of the software are released, vulnerabilities are announced, certificates expire, browsers change. An unmaintained site is one day found either not opening or redirecting visitors elsewhere.

Remote maintenance and support means we do this work for you regularly. We monitor your site and server, test and apply updates, take backups and check that they can be restored. When a problem occurs we have usually intervened before you notice.

We also handle daily requests such as content changes, new pages and small improvements under the same agreement. Response and intervention times are clearly defined in the maintenance agreement.

What happens on an unmaintained site?

Most problems do not appear overnight; they build up quietly for months.

Vulnerabilities accumulate

Most attacks target known vulnerabilities whose patch was released months ago. Every unpatched plugin and library is an open door.

You assume there is a backup

A backup being taken does not mean it can be restored. An untested backup may fail at the moment it is most needed.

The site slows down

The database grows, cache settings break, images get larger. A slower site loses both visitors and search ranking.

Forms break silently

You notice the contact form has stopped sending email only after weeks without enquiries. Regular testing prevents that loss.

Certificate and domain expire

When an SSL certificate or domain is not renewed, the site shows a 'not secure' warning or becomes unreachable.

Small jobs pile up

An outdated price, an old phone number, a discontinued service. An out-of-date site suggests your business is out of date too.

What is included in the maintenance and support agreement?

Scope is set by your needs; the basic agreement includes the items below.

Security and version updates

Core software, plugins and server components updated after testing.

Backup and restore testing

Regular file and database backups and checks that they can be restored.

Downtime and performance monitoring

Automatic monitoring of availability and response time, with alerts when a problem occurs.

Content and small improvements

Text, image, page and small functional changes carried out under the agreement.

SSL, domain and email follow-up

Tracking certificate and domain renewals and resolving email delivery problems.

Monthly status report

A short report covering updates made, downtime and recommendations.

Who is it for?

A maintenance agreement is for businesses without their own technical team, or who do not want to tie their team up with this work.

Corporate websites

Companies whose site is their shop window and who cannot accept downtime.

E-commerce sites

Stores where every minute of downtime is a direct loss of sales.

Users of custom software

Teams whose operations run on web-based software and need continuity.

How maintenance and support begins

We can also take over a site built by another team.

  1. Current state review

We review the present state of your site, server and backups and report the risks.

  2. Takeover

We receive access details securely and deal first with missing updates and urgent risks.

  3. Monitoring setup

We set up downtime, certificate and backup monitoring and route alerts to our team.

  4. Regular maintenance

We carry out updates, backup checks and performance maintenance on the agreed schedule.

  5. Support and reporting

We handle your requests through the support line and report each month on what was done.

Contact Us
What are the support hours and response time?

Monitoring is automatic and continuous. Response and intervention times are defined in writing in the maintenance agreement you choose; a priority channel is set for emergencies.

Another company built our site; can we still get maintenance?

Yes. We first review the current state and report on the infrastructure and risks. If takeover is feasible we move to a maintenance agreement.

Are content changes covered by maintenance?

Text, image and small layout changes are covered. New modules or major design changes are quoted separately.

Is remote support secure?

Access details are stored encrypted, used only by authorised staff and actions are logged. Access is revoked when the agreement ends.

Can I get support only when needed?

We can quote for one-off jobs too. However, monitoring, backup checks and regular updates are provided only under a maintenance agreement.
